    Hotel's location is ideal, being on a side street just off the old town square. Reception and breakfast at Hotel Leonardo, entry to hotel building with your room key, so don't expect any services. But the girl at the reception was very friendly and helpful, went to great length to solve a problem I encountered on arrival.

    Positives

    • Central yet very quiet location. Helpful & friendly reception. Good-sized & very clean bathroom where everything worked perfectly (though no hairdryer & toiletries supplied).

    Negatives

    • Room itself was actually quite clean & nicely decorated if not for the drab shade of green wall color (making room appear dark & cheerless) and the musty carpets (harsh for a person with allergy).

    • Hotel perfectamente decorado y ambientado en una casona antigua, con todos los servicios de un hotel moderno

    Negatives

    • Dificultad de acceso en coche hasta el hotel. La molestia se ve recompensada por una ciudad maravillosa

    Cesky Krumlov is a delightful holiday venue - at least out of the main holiday season, and the Hotel Seneca offered an excellent base in the heart of the old town.

    The lack of dining facilities and staff on site are no problem, since breakfast was served at the Hotel Leonardo, just a few yards away, and the wealth of restaurants in the area makes evening meal provision unnecessary. The latter means, however, that we have not rated 'Dining' and 'Services'.

    • The location of the hotel : ideal.
    • Decor and condition of the room: excellent
    • Value : Very good in terms of similar accommodation
