    This is an average hotel at best. Cesky Krumlov is an incredibly charming city and this hotel seems very much out of place. The rooms were clean, but very small, and the modern furnishings were adequate. Housekeeping was poor. We returned to our rooms at about 4PM on our first full day the City and the rooms had not been made up yet. After a call to the front desk they did make an attempt to clean the rooms but trash was not emptied nor were the paper products refreshed. Front desk staff was helpful at all times. Breakfast in the morning was only fair. I was concerned about the freshness of the food from one day to the next and coffee and tea were only available from a dispenser that mixed the instant products. Not what we were used to in other Czech Republic hotels.

    Negatives

    • Parking ,if you have an auto is about 4 blocks away at the Eggenberg Brewery
    • breakfast left something to be desired- instant coffee and no toaster

    Would not recommend this hotel unless there was not where else to stay in CK

    • a bit out of the way. Rooms very boxy, small and basic. Walls in room were dirty and bug stained. Front desk and brekfast staff were not overly friendly. No one made eye contact and front desk staff seemed to be tired and not overly interested. Rooms and hotel lacked character..there seemed to be too many other interesting choices in CK to ever consider going back to this hotel again.
