On arrival the hotel receptionist was not very welcoming or helpful. Her language skills were poor even though the hotel is advertised as having English spoken. The room was very hot, with no air-con and a very small window (even a fan would have helped). THe location was central and convenient for sight-seeing, but very noisy especially at night.

Great location, very good breakfast and kind staff, fully recomended

My family, arather large one of nine, visited over the Christmas period in 2006. We had a fantastic time and the rooms, service, staff and food were top class. We would recommend the Hotel Zlaty Andel to everyone who intend visiting Cesky Krumlov
